The Graduate Certificate in Teaching Religious Education (GCTRE) is designed specifically to meet the requirements of CECV Policy and it is one of the courses for which it is possible to apply for sponsorship from MACS.

Catholic Dialogue School Seminar
CTC offers annually a 2-day seminar (4 sessions) that is open to all teachers in Catholic Schools – especially those not teaching religious education.
These sessions will provide a strong introduction to the language and purpose of the Enhancing Catholic School Identity (ECSI) Project.
Each 3 hour session has been approved for teachers to:
- Gain or Maintain Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School.
- Maintain accreditation to Teach RE or Lead in a Catholic School.

Accreditation
MACS: It is expected that participants completing both days will gain 12 hours in Area 2 towards gaining/maintaining accreditation to teach in a Catholic School (CECV Policy 2020). A certificate of attendance is provided by the College upon completion.
