Research Application Procedures
- Applications for admission to a Higher Degree by Research can be made at any time.
- Every applicant is considered on an individual basis.
- CTC reserves the right to use its discretion in accepting applications for enrolment, in accordance with the University of Divinity Admissions Policy.
- There are four commencement dates per year:
- 1 February
- 1 May
- 1 August
- 1 November
- HDR Scholarship applications close 15 November.

Arrange for an interview
- Contact the Associate Dean (Research) to arrange an appointment
- Explore our courses
Prepare for your interview
Get the following documents ready
- Proof of Citizenship: Either your Birth Certificate or current Passport
- Academic/VCE transcripts
- Unique student Identifier (USI) number (students studying in Australia only)
- Sponsor Statement (if third party is paying your tuition fees)
- Digital Headshot (for student records/ID card)
- Other documents (as required)
- Prepare a research proposal

Attend your interview
- Discuss your research proposal
- Complete the HDR Application paperwork
